My name is Lee Horsley and I started getting in to reptiles when I was four, for me it was the fascination of my favourite reptile the snake, I find them so incredible how they move, eat, look, and live. Surely this makes them the ultimate predator!

I have been studding herpetology since I was twelve and have worked in several reptile shops in the past. After years of begging my parents finally gave in and I was allowed my very first snake which was a Colombian rainbow boa called daffney.

Since then I have kept and collected many different species of snake from the corn snake up to the Emerald tree Boa and have many happy times keeping these fantastic creatures.

I have also co-founded the E-a-s ( Exotic Animal Society) which is a reptile club based in North Devon and its a great chance to meet people who share the same interest as you, also we do talks and share information about different species of reptiles too.

I have had fun keeping reptiles and now that I am going in to breeding I hope to have another new part of my reptile career added on, 2006 was my first successful breeding season with twelve Colombian rainbows born!

For next season I have bought in a few more reptiles so hope to be breeding a few other different critters too!!!
